Is this overly done liposuction of the banana roll fixable? Options?

Pending a formal evaluation, you may be a good candidate for a Revision Liposuction. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. Thank you for your questions and your pictures thus is a common thing I see in my practice.   I perform a significant amount of redo or botched cosmetic surgery.   The short answer is that yes it can be fixable but might require several treatments with fat grafting.

banana rolls are a difficult area to treat and this is common issue with liposuction of that area. I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is the best option to correct this. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Banana rolls are not great areas for liposuction for this exact reason. One way to correct the sagging crease is to have an excision to cut out skin. This may work on the inside of your buttocks where the scar is less noticeable however the scar will definitely be visible out on the sides where your problem is. Another option is to have some fat placed back in. You appear slim so you may not have a significant amount of fat which can be used in the area but if you do, you may be able to get improvement in the area through fat grafting. Either VASER liposuction or BBL can address the banana roll issue. An in person consulation would be best for a complete analysis. It depends on what you want the results to look like. The banana roll should not be treated with liposuction. Fullness in this area is always a skin bulge and not excess fat. That area never gives good liposuction results because removing fat create an abnormal fat distribution and doesn't treat the underlying issue.
The skin just below the buttocks is pushed together in a standing positionjust like the skin of the lower abdomen when we sit. This allows for full hip flexion.
Summer may recommend a direct skin excision. I would not recommend that because the score will be pretty visible.Fat transfer is probably the only realistic option.
I don't think you will get enough fat to survive with a single session to correct the problem. It's also virtually impossible to replace fat in the exact same nature that it was removed. A partial improvement is the best that you could have and most likely you would need at least two sessions of fat transfer maybe more.
Defects from poorly done liposuction especially when too much fat has been removed is very difficult to correct and often not possible.
You may find significantly more enthusiasm among other surgeons but I ask to see previous cases at least three months out from the time of revision to see if they can walk the walk and I just talk the talk.
Well done liposuction is more difficult than people think. You have to ask yourself if it makes sense to go through more liposuction with fat transfer knowing that only a partial improvement can be had.
