Is this blue vein/bump permanent? (Photo)

I am not sure what is causing your blue bump. I suggest you have your injector examine you carefully. If this is filler material, perhaps expressing it out or dissolving might work well for you.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO 

Hyaluronic acid fillers can reflect light in ways that cause a blue appearance when injected close to the surface of the skin.  The tindall effect as it is known, is the effect of light scattering of shorter wavelength light, resulting in the blue appearance.  The product can be treated with a laser resulting in improvement, or dissolving the product. 

It's difficult to tell from your picture. I recommend following up with your injector for a formal evaluation. This may be caused by superficially placed filler. If necessary, this can be reversed with hyaluronidase. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your question. It is difficult to tell what this is from your photo. However, if this is the Tyndall effect (when filler is placed superficially) it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. I recommend having a follow up with your injector for an evaluation. Best of Luck!

Thank you for your inquiry.  That bluish pea that you are feeling is probably superficially placed Restylane.  I recommend that you follow up with your injector. He/she can either express out the superficial filler or inject hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler.

It's difficult to assess your lip from the photo you posted.  If this is a vein (or perhaps a "venous lake"), then it will not disappear on its own.  It could be residual bruise or possibly "Tyndall effect".  I think this would need to be examined in-person for an accurate assessment.

It is difficult to tell what is there from this photo but if it is a vein it is permanent.  If it is a residual bruise it will go away and if it is the material itself it can be injecte with hyaluronidase to make it go away. return to your doctor for evaluation and treatment

It is most likely related to an accumulation of filler that creates a "Tyndall effect." Since light reflects differently off filler than it does off normal skin tissue, our eyes perceive it as a bluish color. It should be easily reversible with a very small amount of hyaluronidase, which quickly breaks down the excess filler.
