Seeking the most effective way to remove Xanthelasma on my left eye (Photo)

C02 laser ablation was used to remove xanthelasma.  This office procedure is effective and done with local anesthetic.

I recommend you see an oculofaical surgery.  The American Society for Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery maintains a website that has a regional directory that you can use to find highly qualified surgeon close to home.

Surgical excision in the office under local anesthesia is the most effective way to remove these.  The eyelid heals rapidly, but you can experience a small amount of bruising.  

This can be easily excised with local anesthesia in the office.  You will have to check with the surgeon on the price. 

These can be excised. The benefits and risks are similar to that of a blepharoplasty as the excision procedure for these is similar. 
That being said, I would suggest seeing an oculo-plastic surgeon, which is an ophthalmologist with a concentrations in plastic surgery specifically around the eyelids, about your concerns to discuss possible options for you.

This is best treated by a simple direct excision under local anesthesia.  It can be more or less placed in the normal lid fold.

The most effective way to address your xanthelasma is by simple removal. Although it is likely to return in time, surgery is an excellent option now. See an Oculoplastic surgeon such as me for this type of concern. Hope this helps.
