I'm having delayed reconstruction. I have just removed butterfly stitches as advised by breast nurse and I've noted the puckering up into armpit and am worried this will be permanent,The surgeon also did not tell me it would look this way. I know I had internal dissolvable stitches and steristrips/butterflies on the outside. My chest also feels very tight across the incision and looks more puckered when I am upright. Please could anyone offer some advice/reassurance. Thank you in advance,
