Question

Just wondering if they look like they are healing normally? The bruise looking hue on them and the purple veins have me a tad worried. 16 days post-op and I'm still very sore.

It may be that your doctor used ADM or "acellular dermal matrix" as an internal bra. Sometimes this can cause some safe inflammation during the healing process. This can result in extra blood flow as things settle in that makes a purplish color that should eventually resolve. If you have any other signs such as warmth, pain, swelling, fluid accumulation, or fever, you should let your doctors know.

After movement and tissue around the nipple complex there can be several skin changes.  You have swelling and some changes consistent with bruising.Follow up with you provider and look for solutions to reduce the swelling.
