Hi, I had a preventative double mastectomy. I have had all my fills, and am waiting for my exchange surgery. As I have gotten my fills my right nipple has moved further down and become less symmetric. I also feel like the space between my breasts has gotten larger. Ideally I would like my breasts to be closer together ,.Are these things that can be fixed at the exchange surgery? Also I have the option of more fills, does the size I am now look proportional to my body.
Do I need to worry about nipple necrosis? Im 31 yrs old and underwent bilateral nipple sparing mastectomy due to breast cancer. 11 days post op, great recovery overall but the tip of my right breast niple (this one was biopsied to ensure no cancer) is getting darker. I dont want to lose it. Is this normal? Niple reacts to cold/heat on firmness and it is soft to the touch.
Please advise how can the keloid is treated or let it be. Thank you. I had a radical mastectomy ( L) in 2010 and following with Radiation and Tamoxifen treatment. The scar heal well but the lower end of scar became keloid. It was red and painful. Recently, the keloid has extended further and I has suffered from sharp pain, especially as wearing bra.
Unfortunately I was diagnosed with breast cancer, left breast. I am scheduled for a mastectomy on that side. I want an areola reduction on the healthy right breast. I have two options: 1) Have a bilateral mastectomy and come back 3-6 months later for areola reduction or 2) have unilateral mastectomy on left side and have areola work done on right side during the mastectomy surgery....I am wondering which approach is safer for nipple survival or if there are equivalent risks?
Id like to know whether you think my nipples are too high? I had surgery last March 2021, when I had them done I got lots of infections and my nipples stretched as I also had fat transfer. I went back into surgery April this year for scar revision and to make the nipples smaller. I told the surgeon that I think my nipples are too high and he said they wasnt but they peep out of my bras, tops. Pretty much anything that isnt a high neck. They are still also different sizes.
I am a 42-year-old woman looking for breast reduction or removal. My bra size is 32/34DD. I am 5 foot 9 inches tall and weigh 120 pounds. Two cosmetic surgeons said they could reduce my breasts to about a C cup. That is not small enough for me; I would like an A or small B cup. That said, will a cosmetic surgeon remove my breasts completely? I don't plan to have children, so my breasts have no medical purpose. All they do is make my life miserable.
I had my consultation with the PS who will assist my oncology surgeon on my partial mastectomy. I told her that I am allergic to steri strip adhesives so she said she would use glue. Ive been researching the info and can find no info for the use of glue. Is glue the best or only option rather than steri strips?
Is there fix to make my breast look like breast. I feel like they are under my arms, cleavage is none existence and they look like footballs. Under the muscle 525 Mentor MemoyGel put in Oct 2017. I hate them. My PS is saying she cant do much to fix.
I am 30 and weigh 150. My Dr. said I would probably be able to remove the drains after 2 weeks because of my size but now I am going on week 3 without not being under 30ml. Is it because I am moving around too much? Is it because I am young? I don't think I am doing anything too hard to push myself and I have been making a conscious effort to stay put and stop doing things. I started in the 60s and it has decreased now to the 40s but I feel like now it is up and down. Am I just impatient?
