I would recommend first obtaining a CT scan of the skull with thin cuts and a 3D reconstruction, followed by consultation with a plastic surgeon with experience in craniofacial surgery. It may be possible to shave the bone in these areas down.
If you are talking about the upper part of the forehead that projects out more, your best option would be a forehead reduction. Essentially, we go in and shave/contour down the bone to make it smaller and fit the rest of your face. The incision would be at your hairline, so the scar will blend in with your hair. It is a pretty straight forward procedure. Our office provides in-person or virtual consultations if you would like to discuss options further!
In your situation forehead contouring can be done usinf a hairline incision, well hidden in the hairline. A combination of bone having and addition of bone grafts ot depressed areas would be the wy to treat patient like you. In person consultation with a board certified [plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure is recommended. Good luck.
I have personally used a low viscosity, malleable, cohesive HA Filler for this purpose with very gratifying results. The filler can elevate and smooth the indentation thereby minimizing the prominent appearance of the forehead bones above and below and creating a smooth transition across the entire forehead. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist injector, since the forehead is not the place for novice injectors accustomed to simply injecting smile lines with ordinary Juvederm or plain Restylane. Hope this helps and best of luck.
Hello! Thank you so much for your question! You are a good candidate for forehead bone shaving surgery. Forehead bone reduction, also known as frontal bossing reduction or forehead contouring, is a surgical procedure that focuses on reshaping the frontal bone of the skull. It is primarily performed to reduce the prominence of the forehead and create a smoother, more aesthetically pleasing contour. Hope it helps!
Forehead reduction will provide more advancement then probably hair transplant. Your forehead is very high. It is best to be examined to make a final decision between the two techniques. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
I have tried lasers for this problem with limited improvement. I would recommend that you find a person who performs medical tattooing and let them tattoo this area. It may need several treatments.
Irregular Trichophytic Forehead Lift with or without Hairline Lowering Should not be too low and should be minimally noticeable. I invented this and have done more than 5000. The photo you show has NO hair growing thru the scar to hide it. Look for a surgeon who can show you a better result.
It's normal for the hairline to vary from person to person, and some people naturally have a high or prominent forehead. However, if you're concerned about the appearance of your forehead, you may be a good candidate for forehead reduction surgery. Of course, an “in person” consultation is nec...
