When can I get a second ptosis repair?

I had a ptosis repair a month ago, but it seems like there was not too much change and one of my eyes are more lifted than the other now. I want to at least be even. When can I get another ptosis repair? Or are there any non surgical alternatives that can help me besides ptosis repair? Thank you!

Unfortunately, the levator muscle responsible for lifting the upper eyelid does not improve with exercise (unlike other muscles in the body). Hi, I am assuming the ptosis surgery was done on the left upper lid and still is lower than the other side. It can be lifted higher conservatively so that the eyelids can still close over the eye. I also note that your right upper eyelid seems to be in a slightly higher than normal position...

It is a question that your surgeon is best equipped to answer. He knows what was done and what sutures are done and how patients heal in his/her hands. There is pros and cons and operating too early. Communicate with your surgeon.

Internal ptosis surgery is usually the best method but there are many factors involved in deciding which method is the best. No matter what, it is best to see an oculoplastic specialist for eyelid ptosis surgery. See link below.
