The dermatologist said she goes by area not units .Can I get more injections or do I have to be miserable and wait? I had 5 injections not sure how much dysport it was. From lines are still bad. Unfortunately I had it done on vacation in a different state so can't go back to same dermatologist.
Answer: You most likely need touch-up Forehead alone injection of Neurotoxins are not very advisable. We usually like to inject the forehead along with the glabellar and crow's feet. This way, there is not much of possibility of eyebrow ptosis. but doing frehead alone, the injector must be very careful and use the least possible amount of neurotoxin. Therefroe, you may need touch up.

Without these photographs, it is very difficult to precisely compare what you were like before treatment and after treatment. Dysport works if you get a sufficient treatment. Answer: Frown Lines Still There After Dysport Hi Angel. You should find out how much Dysport was used for the frown lines. Between 50-60 units is common and should last 3-4 months.The key test of whether the procedure was done correctly is if you can frown. Can you squeeze the muscles between the eyes together? If not, then you have the desired effect. If you can, then the procedure was done incorrectly or not enough units were used.Finally, if you still have visible frown lines but CANNOT move the area any more, then it's very possible you need dermal fillers as well. We use Restylane in this area when the patient has very deep frown lines and they do not completely resolve after Dysport injections.

Since you aren't in the same state as the initial injector, I would find a qualified injector locally and have them inject more units as to get your desired result for the next 3-4 months. It will be an additional cost but you may not need much more to get the result you're looking for. In the future, if you feel you need more units, you can go in at 10-14 days and have her evaluate and add if needed.

I strongly agree that photos be taken before each treatment so that you can access how you are responding to successive treatments. In general, after 10 days the dysport should be fully bound to the receptors and you either need a higher does to further relax the muscles, or filler, or something else entirely but an injection specialist can explain what you can expect from each treatment and can properly dose the treatment, in most cases.Best of luck.
