Can I go from a tapered crease to a parallel crease? (photos)

Yes it can be changed into parallel,
Just simply change the crease attachment from inside to outside crease.
First, you release attached tissue at inner corner, then reattach the skin to muscle somewhat higher point which create the parallel crease. If you wish to change  the size of crease, then you release whole length of crease and create the crease to your desired point.

If you have a naturally tapered crease, it can be changed to parallel crease but you will likely need a medial epicanthoplasty to achieve this.   If you had previous surgery in this area already, it is more difficult to achieve these changes.  Please meet with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in Asian eyelid surgery.  Good luck!

if your infold was made with open incision technique, then it will not be possible to change to an outfold.  however, if it was done as non incisional or minimal incisional technique, you are a candidate but at least 1 year from your surgery.  hope this helps.
