Cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery performed that are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. See the below link on suggestions on how to find the most qualified plastic surgeon for your procedure. General Factors that influence the price of plastic surgery include:1. Location - Will it be performed in a hospital with an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctor’s office? Geographical location also has a significant influence. RealSelf has average charges for most areas of the USA.2. Type of Anesthesia - local, IV sedation or General Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, or an RN be used? 3. Experience and training of your surgeon. The best and longest trained is most often a plastic surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery 4. Length and Complexity of Surgery - how difficult will your surgery be and how long it will take, etc. Will other complementary procedures also be also performed during the same surgery?
The cost of liposuction of your back will depend upon the demand for the surgeon and the overall amount of work involved. The result will depend upon the amount as well as the skill with which fat is removed to maintain a smooth contour. The typical cost for Liposuction near Orlando, Florida ranges from $2,800 - $8,000 with an average cost of $5,000 near Orlando and an average of $6,025 from all locations. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials (education, training, experience, board certification) who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results with favorable patient reviews.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Cost for full back liposuction varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACSHarvard-trained plastic surgeon
Costs of liposuction varies due to multiple factors, the patient's anatomy, surgery center fees (which vary based on location), surgeon's fee, and type of anesthesia used. I would recommend consulting with multiple surgeons and not make your decision based on price alone, but who you feel comfortable with. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. The average price for liposuction according to real self is $4700. The range is $1800-$8000. I recommend you consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon experienced in liposuction to discuss your goals, examine you or do a virtual consultation over email if you are out of town, and show before/after photograph so that you get a better idea of what type of results you can expect to get. Good luck!
Hi Becky! All lipo is NOT created equal! Please research your doctor and clinic and make sure that you choose a doctor based on experience and photos of their personal work. Bargain clinics use random docs who's work may or may not be what is published on their website! Also, "full back" can mean different things. I would get a few consultations and compare what you get for the price. A small patient of ours would be $4500 for lovehandles and waist, while a very large patient who wants upper back, bra area, waist, lovehandle, lower back, buttock sculpting could run over $10,000. That's a really big difference, so be careful when shopping. Good luck on your journey! All the best, Dr. Meegan Gruber
Thanks for the question, the back is one of the hardest areas because the anatomy is dense and thick. I prefer general anesthesia and the use of VASER or ultrasound to melt the fat, POWER to remove it, and Cold Helium Plasma to tighten the skin, cost is around $8000
HelloLiposuction is a procedure that provides removal of excess fat deposits. That allows reshape specific areas and give your body contours and some proportion. Is good to clarify that it doesn't remove excess skin. The length of the procedure can vary, as well the cost that depends between surgeons and on all other factors. Find a certified plastic surgeon to be evaluated first and can give the best choice for you. Best wishes.RegardsDr. Israel MañonCertified Plastic Surgeon
Different surgeons will charge different prices. It also depends on the patient (how much fat and how large an area). In addition it depends if the surgeon performs surgery in certified surgery facility versus the hospital versus local anesthesia versus IV sedation versus general anesthesia. Prices also depend if a real Dr anesthesiologist is used versus a nurse anesthetist. I would strongly recommend that since you will be wearing the results the rest of your life you base your choice by picking a good board certified plastic surgeon who has a good reputation in you community. I hope you find this information useful. For more information please watch the enclosed video.
You question leaves out you already had lipo with an acceptable result! If a surgeon does not feel he/she can improve the previous liposuction results the either do not use them or seek more opinions from other boarded PSs. In you case you have limited fat and most like;y high levels of subnormal scar fibrosis. I might offer superficial liposculpturing with the BodyTite RF bipolar unit (very expensive unit to use). Fees in the $8,000 ranges.
