Liposuction. Is there a way to have this issue fixed? (Photo)

Hello,It is difficult to assess you situation with the limited information and single photo. Depending on time since surgery, your preoperative skin dynamics, and your physical exam, a multitude of recommendations could be made. In general, if it has been less than 3 months, then massage or Endermologie could be beneficial, possibly up to 6 months. I would caution you to avoid investing in expensive additional non-surgical procedures that have a paucity of evidence for efficacy. Best of luck!

If it is the sensations you are having, then you may need to wait 6 or more months for that to improve. Unsure of when your procedure was. I'm not sure when you had your procedure. You may still have swelling and sensations, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. The answer would depend upon how long ago you had surgery.  If your surgery was within the last 3 months, what you describing may be normal.   If you had surgery a year ago, you should discuss these concerns with your plastic surgeon because you may need additional liposuction to that lower abdominal area.

Usually sensations subside at the six month period.  I am wondering when was your first surgery.  Overall, I would expect the symptoms to improve.  There are some topical medications that can help (Voltaren Gel) and some others (Gabapentin) that may be useful.  You must follow up with your PS or primary care doctor.  If the pain persists you may need the help of a pain management doctor.

In your question, you did not reveal how long after surgery you are. Regardless, numbness, tingling and other issues are fairly common after liposuction. Over time, these should subside and ultimately either fully resolve or at least become relatively insignificant but you must give it at least one year. Numbness and tingling after liposuction is pretty common early post op, but tends to improve over time. Whatever is still present at one year after the surgery is likely to be permanent. It is not uncommon to have patches of numb areas after lipo but most of the time at one year they are small in size and number.

First of all, congratulations on your liposuction!
It’s common to experience changes in sensation after liposuction. I don’t know how long you’ve had your lipo, but these nerve changes can persist for a year.
Since it continues to bother you, I suggest you go back to your experienced and board-certified plastic surgeon for a physical evaluation and a more personalized recommendation for your condition.

Based on your picture, regardless how long ago your procedure was performed, it looks like you have the result of poorly performed liposuction in combination with having skin laxity.
Your treatment options are doing nothing, converting this to a full abdominoplasty or excepting the results as they are.
