I am 50 and have parenthesis. I wanted to get a filler, such as Juvederm. The Dr, however, said that the juvederm would add weight n would pull my face downward, because I exercises ofter. She said the up/down movement of the exercise would cause the eyes to have bags due to the weight of the filller. She advised Sculptra in cheeks and nasal folds j stead.
Answer: Injectible fillers causing bags? Hard to give an opinion without photos. Often volume will help the soft tissue structures of the face. We have many very active people in our practice. If properly selected, there usually should not be an issue with creating bags. Each patient is different. Choice of substance and placement may vary. Best to see an experienced injector. Tell him/her your issues and lifestyle. Together you will come up with an appropriate decision.

Answer: Fillers in the Nasolabial Folds Causing Eye Bags I have never seen, or even heard of this happening. Fillers actually restore volume and give the tissues that they are injected in a lift. You may want to get a second opinion from an experienced injector.

Answer: Will injectable fillers of nasolabial area pull down skin and cause bags? Without seeing your photos- it is impossible to comment accurately what you are candidate for. I suggest you seek an experienced Board Certified PS for in person exam. Information you received does not make any sense whatsoever.

Answer: You might need cheek volume Many people think they need their nasolabial fold corrected, but in fact, they need their cheeks lifted. I love Sculptra in the cheeks. Perlane and Voluma might be other good options in the cheeks. In the end, it is not the filler but the Filler (the doctor) that is the most important variable, so choose wisely, then follow their advice.

Answer: All Of The Currently Available Fillers Can Treat This Thanks for your question and I would suggest that you consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to learn what some of the best treatment options for what we call the nasolabial folds, what you are calling the parenthesis. All of the currently available fillers can treat this. As well, volumizing fillers, like Sculptra, or Voluma, or Perlane in the mid cheeks, or Radiesse, can be used in the cheeks if there is volume loss in these areas. If there are, and if this is done correctly, one will see improvement in the nasolabial folds. So we need to know from you is that if you have volume loss and then Sculptra will work to “efface” the nasolabial folds at the same time they will take care of any volume loss in the cheeks. And as noted by the others, exercise should not be an issue with this.Find the right doctor and see what can be done.
