Botox touch up dropped my lower face. Is there anything I can do? (Photos)

Question

I had my botox done by a different place. As before- I did my forehead, glabella and eyebrow lift. I didn’t do my crows feet this time. My face looks different! I have obvious jowls now/nasolabial lines. My cheeks have dropped! What happened?! What can I do to fix this. I don’t want to start fillers yet and Botox has never done this. I added previous Botox and last application photos. I go out of the country in 3 days and I need to fix this ASAP.

Facial drooping can happen after Botox injections to the masseter muscle, if it is done incorrectly. Based on where you had Botox injected, it should not produce any drop to your cheeks.

Botox is a neuromuscular toxin. That means all muscles that come in contact with the Botox will be paralyzed. This paralysis will last in some cases an unpredictable amount of time. Best to wait until it completely wears off

It is difficult to tell from your photos. It would be very strange for your lower face to drop from forehead and frown crease injections. The medicine is not near those muscle groups.My suspicion is that the upper third of your face looks better and you are now noticing the  lower third..You  can not erase Botox. The best thing is to let it wear off.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I think the best thing to do is followup with your injector in person. If the Botox/Dysport was placed too low around the eyes, it is possible it may have diffused to the zygomaticus muscles which could result in cheek ptosis (droopiness). However, you said that you were not treated around the eyes so this should not have happened.

The photos are not a lot of help but it sounds like the injection was a little low and hit the zygomatic muscles causing the face to drop and this should wear off over a few months but there is not antidote

Botox is non-reversible.  However, the effect wears off over time.  The best thing to do is having patience.  Additional touch up works too.  But, it can worsen your situation as well.  Best wishes.

I think you're being too tough on yourself. You're still smiling fully, which means that the botox that was injected into the Crows feet was done correctly. Your face does not look that different from the previous pictures, but the lighting is different. You should relax and complete your out of the country trip without any further treatment.
