What is the bump that developed at my Botox injection site? (Photo)

One day after my most recent Botox injections to forehead, I developed what I thought was a zit. It eventually dried up and the outer layer of skin flaked off, but now flesh colored bump is still there. What could this be and how do I get rid of it? I’ve had many rounds of Botox and this has never happened.

Sorry you have lid ptosis after Botox.  Although the drops help, your lid will eventually return to its normal position, often sooner that 3 months.  You might consider waiting a few weeks to see if it doesn’t improve on its own.

Yes, Botox can improve this. Botox results resolve in 3-4 months. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

There is no medical contraindication to the treatments listed and your sinus condition.  However, depending on your recovery, you may have subjective symptoms.  Botox and fillers should be no problem.  Any type of submental treatment may add a sense of tightness under the chin.  It does not cau...

Hi Byias.  The muscle shown in the second photo should have been injected with the first visit.  If it's still active (as it appears), you should go back and request a touchup as it should not be able to contract like this.  Best of luck.
