What is the bump that developed at my Botox injection site? (Photo)

Question

One day after my most recent Botox injections to forehead, I developed what I thought was a zit. It eventually dried up and the outer layer of skin flaked off, but now flesh colored bump is still there. What could this be and how do I get rid of it? I’ve had many rounds of Botox and this has never happened.

Local irritation or rarely an infection may happen after Botox injections and typically subsides in few days. However,  it is recommended to follow up with your surgeon for evaluation.

You should really go back to whoever did your injections to have them evaluate this.  It has the appearance of acne, but given that you had an injection there, I wonder if it is something related to your treatment.  Good luck!
