The number of plastic surgeons who truly mastered liposuction and fat transfer is fairly small. Unfortunately, there is a high percentage of plastic surgeons with all the right credentials simply aren’t good at this procedure. Correcting poorly done, Liposuction is difficult, and sometimes only partial improvements are possible. The most difficult situations to correct Typically involve overly aggressive Liposuction during the primary procedure that was done, leaving patients with an uneven, fat distribution. The more fat that was removed during the primary procedure the less tissue there is to work with to even things out. I cannot emphasize enough how difficult it is to try to improve badly done Liposuction in a meaningful way. This type of work should only be done by those who have a proven track record. The best plastic surgeons to do revision work are usually the same providers who do the best primary procedures. There is no non-surgical treatment to correct, uneven, fat, distribution, created by Liposuction. Find the right provider I suggest patience look for plastic surgeons, whose practice is focused, heavily or preferably exclusively on liposuction and fat transfer. Look for providers who have a minimum of one decade of experience doing these procedures. During each consultation ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who have similar body characteristics to your own. Bring pictures of yourself to use as reference when reviewing before and after pictures. An experience provider should have no difficulty showing you the before, and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing only the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like, what your results are likely to look like or how many of these procedures that provider has actually done. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the best provider. The more consultations you schedule the more likely you are to find the better provider. considering how much variation there is in skill among plastic surgeons for liposuction and fat transfer I recommend patient schedule at least four or five consultations before selecting a provider. The biggest mistake patients make is scheduling only one consultation which more or less eliminates the ability to choose the better provider. I do not think you can select providers correctly Using Internet search options only. Take notes during each consultation, especially regarding the quantity and quality of before and after pictures. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of provider selection for any plastic surgery operation, but especially liposuction and fat transfer. Despite these being commonly performed procedures that most plastic surgeons have done many times the number of plastic surgeons who take the procedure seriously and commit to actually mastering this craft is Very low. Most plastic surgeons typically aren’t very good at Liposuction. I’m sorry you find yourself in this situation. There is definitely room for improvement on your outcome both in regards to what your abdomen looks like and your entire body, including the BBL outcome, which can easily be improved as well. The key is to find the right provider and doing that turns out to be far more difficult than most people realize. I suggest you take six months to look for the right provider to help you correct the outcome so you can move forward. Recognize that attempts and improving the Out, with revision work, can variously make things worse if not done by someone who is truly excellent at this type of work. I’m sorry you find yourself in this situation and wish you all the very best and finding the right provider for your needs. What happened to you is unfortunately all too common.
