Sloshing sound and feeling in one breast 3 weeks post Natrelle silicone implant with lift. Is it leaking?

I am exactly 3 weeks post-op today for breast aug and lift under the muscle. I have Natrelle silicone, 338 cc. Since surgery, the side of the right breast is very painful, almost feels like a bruise. Today, I hear and feel a sloshing sensation in right breast only, which I did hear/feel the night I got home from surgery, but not since then. Concerned something is leaking. Called doc but he's in surgery today.

Nope. That is likely irrigation from surgery in the pocket or just fluid the body produces with surgery. Remember, the pocket the implant sits in was surgically created and that is like a big wound. Wounds make fluid to heal themselves. That fluid will reabsorb by your body over the next several months. This is a totally normal phenomenon early on. DrRickAZ

This is a very good question. After surgery the nerves that go to the breast are stretched, sometimes bruised and may not work well for a while. They give all kinds of mixed signals including "sloshing around. " I have had patients tell me that and it has been no consequence after a few weeks. However, it can also indicate some residual fluid around the implant that the body is having difficultly resolving. It is best that you seek the advice of your surgeon to check that nothing significant is going on. Best of luck.
