Is it possible to not lose 30 percent of fat after BBL? (photos)

I just had a bbl 7 days ago. I think he made my buttocks too small. I'm hoping for the best but I'm afraid that it will keep getting smaller since supposedly you lose 30 percent of the fat over time. I would be happy if it stayed this size.

in my experience most patients lose around 30% of the volume injected over the first four weeks. They also loose more volume as the swelling resolved m in the areas of liposuction.  As the swelling in the lower back and flanks goes down it does make the buttock look bigger. #Staybeautiful @RealDrWorldWide

Thank you for your question. With Brazilian butt lift we transfer fat from one area of the body to the other.  These fat cells are transferred in microinjections throughout multiple planes in the buttock tissue so that they can gain new blood supply and live in their new home, providing increased volume and shape to the buttocks. The fat that survives is there permanently. Around 70% of fat that is grafted is typically expected to survive long term. We also put a little extra to account for loss of fat post operative, which is reabsorbed gradually by the body.
