Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. A mommy makeover consists of a tummy tuck and a breast lift with or without an implant. This can be donethrough a low and short incision, all completely below the bikini line. The belly button can be designed to looknatural and have no scars on the exterior. Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. A breast lift/implant can be performed at the sametime for improved shape and contour of your breasts. A BBL consists of waistline shaping liposuction with injection of fat into the buttocks. Make sure you specificallylook at before and after pictures of real patients who have had thissurgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. The difference between a mommy makeover and a BBL is that a mommy makeover includes a combination of procedures (usually breast enhancement, tummy tuck and/or liposuction), while a BBL is just the single buttock lift procedure. A BBL can be part of a mommy makeover. Every patient is different. Some need a tummy tuck, some may want a breast augmentation or lift.
A mommy makeover can be used to describe many surgical procedures. Typically it for mothers who have had one or more children. After that they can have some sagging (ptosis) of their breasts due to breast feeding and stretching of their abdominal skin and underlying muscles. A "mommy makeover" traditionally addressed both the breast and tummy regions. The breasts are addressed with either a breast lift to lift the nipple to a more youthful position plus/minus a breast implant if more fullness is needed in the breasts. The tummy is addressed with usually a tummy tuck to get rid of the extra skin and tightening of the underling muscle plus/minus liposuction. A BBL (brazilian butt lift) main goal is to increase the size and fullness of the buttock region. This is done with liposuction of other areas of the body and then transferring the fat to the buttock. It won't address the breasts or the loose tummy skin. Congratulations on your BBL procedure! As far as standing, I usually have my patients take two weeks off of work after their recovery (which it sounds like you plan on doing), and to limit sitting too much. I believe that standing at your desk is actually much more effective at preventing clots...
