How long do you recommend to wait for tattoo after lipo and BBL?

This nicht be a weird question But I was wondering when you can get Tattooed after lipo and BBL ( on this areas ). I know that I should wait Until the swelling Is down. Thanks for your answers:) Love

Thank you for your question. I usually have my patients wait for at least three months before tattooing a liposuctioned area. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Hello and Thank you for your question. As a certified Plastic surgeon, I would recommend having a tattoo done after a full recovery, that's about when swelling goes down. For each patient results may vary, it might be six months up to a year.

Hi! Good question......As you can see from the answers below from my colleagues, there is wide variation. The best person for you to answer this question will be your PS who did the surgery as he/she will have their reasons that fits their practice!
For me: Wait at least 6 months or so depending on individual cases. The swelling needs to settle significantly before any art work can look good.

I would wait until you are adequately healed from surgery. You should check with your surgeon to be sure.

Hello dear!Actually it is a good question. The time recommended it's 8 months to 1 year after surgery, so the skin has recovered and the swollen goes down. Good luck :)
