If an infection is present from juvederm is the protocol to dissolve or antibiotics first then dissolve?
Answer: Infection and juvederm I would go back to your provider so they could do a thorough assessment of your concerns. Likely antibiotics will be started and possible dis-solvent to the area to get rid of the product causing infection

Answer: Filler and infection If you have a documented infection you need antibiotics. However you also want to get rid of the filler since the bacteria may be within the filler so tough for the antibiotics to get to. So need to remove the filler as well with the hyaluronidase.

Answer: See a Doctor for a Formal Evaluation--infection after Juvederm If you think you have an infection, I recommend getting a formal evaluation with your Doctor. You will need antibiotics. If necessary, the juvederm can be reversed with hyaluronidase. It may take a series of treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Infected HA filler If there is a confirmed infection at the site where hyaluronic acid filler was injected, one must be treated with antibiotics. Some if not all of the hyaluronic acid filler will dissolve during the process of healing, but one must take the antibiotics and hyaluronidase is not at all necessary. Good luck from New York City
