Your right eye appears more bulging with lower eyelid more retracted (vs.left eye more sunken). There are procedures to improve the symmetry. See following video and website link. Skype consult available.
unfortunately most asymmetry around the eyes tends to worsen as we get older. The good news is that you would be a great candidate for Botox to both the left upper and lower lids. The Botox would elevate the upper lid and lower the lower lid leading to a widening of the eye. An oculoplastic specialist would be best as this is a delicate area that needs very precise injections. Hope this helps and best of luck.
By different size eyes, are you referring to your eyes being positioned differently in the bony orbit, one eye being larger than the other (i.e. axial myopia), or appearing different in size due to eyelid asymmetry? These questions can be answered with a thorough examination. In general, changing the position of the upper and/or lower eyelid surgically may improve the asymmetric appearance of the eyes.
An oculoplastics consultation would be wise. You may have a normal degree of asymmetry, but even if this is longstanding, it would be good to have a diagnosis. Thyroid problems, sinus problems, refractive differences, and many other etiologies can cause one eye to appear larger than the other. Repair may be as straightforward as elevating the lower lid on the more prominent side to equalize the scleral show. Best wishes.
Simplest thing to do is remove more skin. You are young and should have adequate volume. It is clear that you have a reservoir of skin that would permit safe revision surgery that would not impact your lid closure in a negative way. I wouldn't inject filler in your lids for...
Under eye hollowing can normally be fixed with volume replacement. Fillers that are Hyaluronic Acid based are best for that sensitive area. There are different types of HA fillers and a consultation with a trained injector is best to decide which on is right for you. A good way to find an e...
The position of the upper and lower eyelids are slightly different between the two eyes. Causes may include different position of the eyes in the bony orbit relative to one another, difference size/ shape of the eyes, eyelid retraction due to systemic causes, or droopiness of the eyelids. ...
Hello jsxt34, Surgery cost depends on many factors. This is either an orbital problem or eyelid. Which route you should go depends on what the underlying cause of your appearance is. Before answering your excellent question my suggestion is to seek out an Oculoplastic surgeon to...
Hey man, thanks for your question- It sounds like you had an orbital floor fracture- the most common of eye injuries. What can happen is the fat that surrounds the eye and allows it to be equal in position to the other side- some of it can fall through the fracture line... This makes the...
Thank you for your photos. Festoons can be difficult to treat. They are due to a combination of the deep ligamentous attachments to your face, as well as fluid and fat in that area. In my experience an extended blepharoplasty yields the best results. Superficial treatments such as lasers or ...
