Is it possible to fix front nose asymmetry without surgery? (Photo)

Question

I have previously had one septorhinoplasty due to a deviated septum and early last year I had a revision rhinoplasty to help with the aesthetics and uneven appearance. My original nose was extremely uneven and although I've had 2 surgeries I understand it may not be possible to completely eliminate asymmetries. I was wondering if filler may be used to possibly help balance the front view or something else?

I can understand your desire to not undergo further nasal surgery. You may have a slight indentation along your left nasal sidewall that may be causing a crooked appearance. Depending on your examination, filling this may be considered - especially if you don’t mind the width of your nose on front view. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

Hello! Great questions. Filler can certainly be used to add volume to certain areas and improve any asymmetries. As you may know, there are risks with injecting filler within the nose such as necrosis. The process is very simple and results immediate. Reinjection usually occurs roughly every 6-8 months. Another option would include adding fascia under the skin envelope. The temporalis fascia can be added via a closed approach and can work quite nice. Hope this helps!
