I have always had a love hate relationship with my nose. I have decided that I am not ready to undergo a permanent change to my nose. But I have been very interested in trying non surgical rhinoplasty, primarily to define my bulbous nose and upturn my nose, slightly. Is this something that could be achieved?
Answer: Fillers may not lift a droopy nasal tip... We meet people who are terrific candidates for permanent non-surgical nose job treatments, but in our experience fillers may not lead to a narrower tip appearance, nor an upturned appearance. Consider re-asking with photos. Or just love it! Dr Joseph

Answer: No you need a Rhinoplasty (Nosejob) Surgery | Facial Plastic Surgery | Expert | Revision | Non-Surgical | Filler | Liquid Rhino Hello and thank you for your question! You have a complex issue that requires expert-level correction. An over-rotated, and bulbous nasal tip can only be properly addressed through rhinoplasty—fillers simply don’t have the structural strength to achieve the necessary changes. Also, fillers would add volume, making your tip look even more bulbous and poorly defined. Many surgeons overlook key techniques that can otherwise soften the appearance of underlying structures, significantly improving tip shape and refinement. These specialized maneuvers require a high level of expertise and experience, which most surgeons simply do not have. Given your history, an open septorhinoplasty would be the best approach to precisely reshape your nasal tip, rotate your nose, refine the bridge, and restore overall balance. In addition to reshaping your nose aesthetically, your septal cartilage (or an alternative graft material) would be used to create structural grafts, reinforcing key areas like the columella (the strip of tissue between your nostrils). This is crucial to maintaining long-term symmetry and preventing future distortions. Rhinoplasty is one of the most technically demanding procedures in all of plastic surgery—millimeters make all the difference. If a surgeon is only performing one or two rhinoplasties per month, they simply do not have the level of experience necessary to achieve the best possible result. Your nose defines your entire face—this is NOT a surgery to leave in the hands of just anyone. I have had extensive training in complex rhinoplasty, working under one of the highest-volume rhinoplasty surgeons in the world (who performs 1,000+ nose surgeries per year). If you’re serious about getting the best possible result, I’d be happy to see you for a consultation (Virtual or In-Person) where we can discuss your goals, perform a detailed examination, and create a customized plan for your ideal nose. I look forward to helping you achieve the refined, balanced nose you deserve! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Nonsurgical rhinoplasty Some mild refinement of the tip is possible, but it depends on the thickness and elasticity of your tip skin. For significant tip refinement, surgical rhinoplasty would be necessary. While there are a variety of approaches and techniques employed by various providers, it is up to you to do your due diligence to find an expert in nonsurgical rhinoplasty to give you the best result in the safest manner. Good luck! #drdonyoo

Answer: Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Hello! Fillers can create favorable changes in the nose. They aren't without risk, though. The nose is very vascular and instances of damage to the skin have occurred from filler injections. Furthermore, scarring can occur deeply making future surgical options more challenging. This isn't to say that you can't achieve more narrowness and increase rotation with fillers. Just be aware there are risks although small. Good options would be Juvederm and this often needs to be repeated roughly every 6-8 months. I would seek consultation with a physician injector as these types of injections require more finesse and monitoring. Hope this helps!

Answer: Would a non-surgical rhinoplasty help to define my bulbous tip In our practice, we don't recommend nonsurgical rhinoplasty, especially placement of fillers in the tip which will artificially inflate your anatomy. It'll make your bulbous tip worse, not better, and it does Carry risks of skin necrosis. Consider a closed rhinoplasty procedure to accomplish reduction of the bulbous nasal tip with all of the incisions placed on the inside of the nose. A full set of facial photographs from all angles are going to be required to make a determination about how best to proceed.
