There are many options for filling the chin area, not limtied to Juvederm and Radiesse. A consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who is an expert injector is the best option for you to determine which filler will be best for you.
Radiesse is a calcium based product that is thicker, comes in a syringe that has more volume and lifts well. It does; however, last a shorter time than Juvederm.
Kylie Thank you for the question. An in office consultation is necessary to determine your best course of action. While all fillers can be used for chin augmentation, my favorite is Bellafill. It is the longest lasting FDA approved filler. Of the others that you mentioned, Radiesse would be my second favorite in this area. It is a firmer filler. Juvederm would be great if you want to " try on " the look before fully committing .
These fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm), or Sculptra are good for augmenting the chin. Implants and fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Radiesse or Juvederm could both provide augmentation for the chin, but Radiesse is a stiffer product so I feel it can provide more projection over bony areas like the chin. Because of this difference, I would recommend Radiesse over Juvederm for the chin. I am not familiar with Aliaxin EV.
Thank you for your question! Both Radiesse and Juvederm have their benefits; and although these fillers have different compositions and consistencies, they can actually be used together to give great results. When treating the chin we often use them in combination. We place Radiesse deep, on top of the bone since it is a firmer, stronger filler. We then layer Juvederm Voluma more superficially to help push the skin outwards for further projection.I've included a video that reviews using multiple fillers in one area, I hope you find this helpful in your research!
Thank you for your question. Both Radiesse and Juvederm can be used for chin augmentation. It’sdifficult to tell without photos. I recommend getting a in personconsultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
We tend to prefer using a more solid filler that will last and provide good fullness in the chin area. Radiesse is ok. Voluma is a better option and we have used it extensively. One other benefit of Voluma is that it can be reversed if you are unhappy or need any adjustments.
Dear kylie2333:Both Radiesse and Juvederm Voluma are excellent dermal fillers for augmenting the chin area. Please see an expert injector for best results. Best wishes.
Hi there, I would recommend Juvederm for chin augmentation. I have Juvederm Voluma in my own chin and am extremely happy with the results. If you do not like it you can get it dissolved with a product Hyelenex. Only seek the help of a board certificated dermatologist. Good luck, Dr. Downie
What are your goals? To improve projection? If so, please submit a lateral photo. Fillers for the chin are wonderful but not permanent solutions.
I would recommend treatment with injectable fillers. No surgery, just fillers. There is no specific filler that is superior to the others. Most injectors will offer several filler options. Good luck
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the...
For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject...
Many manufacturers add local anesthesia for your comfort. It cannot be removed from a prepackaged material. You could try Restylane without the local anesthetic mixed in. *Opinions stated here are only opinions. They are not based on a clinical exam which is recommended.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
