What are your goals? To improve projection? If so, please submit a lateral photo. Fillers for the chin are wonderful but not permanent solutions.
This will ultimately depend on the results you want. You have a few options. Facial Fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) and Sculptra can be used to augment the chin. This will allow you to try on the look before committing to a more permanent option like implants and/or fat. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Depending on the projection of your chin and the look you are trying to achieve, dermal fillers can help to enhance and define your chin. Best wishes.
Thanks for sharing your question and photo. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell based on the front facing photo whether you are a good candidate for chin augmentation with filler. A lateral photograph would help. In general, filler injection works great for augmenting the chin. My preferred fillers for this indication are Voluma, Restylane Lyft or Radiesse (+). See an experience injector for best results.
Dermal fillers are very effective for chin agumentation. Looking at your photo it is difficult to determine if this would be the correct procedure for you. We would need to assess you from different angles to determine the projection of the chin. There are other options for enhancing the chin as well including fat transfer and chin implants. You should consult with an experienced provider who can advise you.
We think a chin filler would look great on youRestylane Lyft is a more robust product and would give you great definition. You can totally achieve the way you want to look if treated with expertise.
Chin filler may help to augment your chin, but it's a bit difficult to tell based on only 1 photo. I recommend you have a consult with an experienced injector who can discuss your options. Even better, you may want to have a consult with a plastic surgeon who can also discuss chin implants to give you even more options.Best,Dr. Dan KrochmalMAE Plastic SurgeryNorthbrook, IL
Dear dillop:Dermal fillers can be used effectively to balance asymmetric jawlines. Please see an expert injector for best results. Best wishes.
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the...
For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject...
