I'm looking for very subtle changes for my rhinoplasty. Fixing my hanging columnella, and my tip asymmetry. I also have a deviated septum and was wondering if costs are lessened if done in a hospital?

Answer: Finesse rhinoplasty and hanging columella Finesse is simply an adjective to describe how the surgeon approaches the rhinoplasty procedure. A columellar plasty is performed on patient's who have a hanging columella. A columellar-plasty is cheaper than a full rhinoplasty. Tip asymmetry is addressed through a tip plasty , but only when the remainder of the nose does not need to be operated upon. Performing a rhinoplasty in the hospital is more expensive than in an outpatient surgical center. Cosmetic rhinoplasty must be paid for by the patient, while a deviated septum is billed to the patient's medical insurance for medical necessity when symptomatic.
