Answer: Facial Fillers I appreciate your concern, however facial fillers, injected by expert board-certified plastic surgeons or dermatologists in appropriate locations, does not cause skin sagging over time. Also, most of the popular fillers, like Juvéderm are organic, and dissolve overtime, depending upon the exact type of filler. Only permanent fillers like silicone, can migrate over time and cause issues. For this reason, most doctors in the United States do not use silicone anymore. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in our area to explore the best options for you. Good luck.

Answer: Do facial fillers cause the skin to stretch? No, facial fillers do not cause any stretching of the skin. Fillers will help to naturally lift skin that has lost elasticity. Some fillers which cause collagen stimulation such as sculptra and bellafill are longer lasting. Even so, aging continues with bone, fat and collagen loss over time. Hence, tweaking the fillers periodically can help keep the volume in one's face restored. Hyaluronic acid fillers also help with hydration of the skin. Using a procedure to help restore dropping collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid levels in the skin such as ultrasound, RF or lasers is also highly recommended.
