Is it possible to get filler (cheeks &undereyes) if you’ve had orthognathic surgery, and have metal plates in your upper jaw & near your eyes? I’d like to know if that could cause a problem, like a biofilm infection or increase the risk of vascular occlusion due to changes in the anatomy, etc and if filler should be avoided in that area. Would removing the plates first be safer? If filler is still an option, how would an injector avoid any vascular complications because of the change in anatomy?
