Can I use self tanner 3 weeks after sclerotherapy?

There is no danger of applying self tanner within 24 hours of a Sclerotherapy treatment. However, you should avoid direct exposure (unprotected) to the sun for 2 weeks.

You can get self tanner immediately after sclero treatment, there is no reason you cant.  I usually tell people however to wait 24-48 hours before doing anything that can irritate the area.  Best, Dr. Emer.

There is no problem with
using a self tanner after Sclerotherapy. You can do so as soon as 24 hours after treatment as long as the skin is intact.

The idea is to stay out of the sun when you have sclerotherapy to reduce inflammation in the area. Self tanners can be applied 48 hours after treatment. Remember to wear compression stockings to cover the area of sclerotherapy for a period of at least 2 weeks. I recommend 3 months because I practice in a cold part of the country. 

I recommend no sun exposure over the sclerotherapy sites for a minimum of 2 weeks post sclerotherapy and longer if there is any discoloration.  A self tanner can be used after 48 hours but I would be cautious if you have areas of discoloration.

It is perfectly fine to use self-tanner after sclerotherapy, especially after this much time. I might not recommend doing it immediately after because the skin can become quite irritated within the first 48 hours. But at this point in time, it's just fine.
