I had fat transfer to my butt and calves. The butt is feeling hard on the side is that normal? My ankles are swelling but I am not standing or sitting a lot is this normal. My procedure was May 8.

Answer: This is completely normal. Large volume fat transfer is a significant surgical procedure, and considerable swelling is nearly always seen. You are only a few weeks postop so yes, the hard feeling you describe is normal. Everyone is different but it may take up to three months or more to resolve. Hang in there, you are very early in the healing process. Things will get a lot more normal feeling with time.

Answer: Firmness after BBL Firmness after a BBL is often due to swelling of the tissues after the procedure. This usually softens with time. If concerned then see your surgeon.
