How would I go about fixing this problem? I have heavy scar tissue in the dent itself and fascia separation. My vastus medialis and vastus intermedius were only slightly effected and doesn't bother me anymore strength or fitness wise. It's purely cosmetic at this point. My indent was from a car accident 11 years ago from the force against the steering wheel. I had it looked at last year and they said lose 30 lbs then consider surgery, I lost 40 and I think it looks worse now, much more prominent.

Answer: I want to fix the indent on my right quadricep. The folding and dented skin along with the cellulite bother me the most.
While flushing is a common side-effect of niacin (which can be minimized with the extended-release preparations), I am not aware of any data showing that niacin or other vitamins are bad for fat grafting patients. So you can take niacin if you wish. The main issue we worry about is too much...
After liposuction a compression garment is recommended for six weeks. This helps control swelling and fluid collection. It is going to be tough to return to work after two weeks. It will not be very lucrative dancing in a garment.
Ice packs immediately to the area grafted can lead to freezing of the grafts and eventual loss. 3-6 months after the surgery the grafts are healed and ice packs to the area do not have a negative affect on them.Earl Stephenson, Jr, MD,DDS, FACS
