Based on your photos, your chin is a bit behind the bridge of the nose, so it looks short. While filler can be done to help some, and chin implant will give a permanent improvement of that area. Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. You actually have a difficult problem. To properly address your nose and improve your facial balance, you would need a rhinoplasty with nasal tip deprojection to improve the overall harmony of your different facial features.

This truly a surgery of millimeters- and tip deprojection is one of the most technically challenging surgical techniques! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually).

I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. At the same time, I would also perform a full facial analysis to see if you would benefit from any other procedures (e.g. chin filler vs implant). I hope this helps!

Nose and chin balance definitely affects overall facial balance from both frontal and (especially) profile view. You would benefit from some augmentation of your chin, which would in turn help balance the relative proportions of your nose. The home run result, of course, would be both rhinoplasty and implant-based chin augmentation, however you would likely see benefit from filler to the chin alone as well. There is no harm in starting with that to see if it's a satisfactory change.

I would recommend a rhinoplasty and potentially a chin implant or osseous genioplasty (bony chin advancement). I am not a fan of injecting fillers throughout the face as we have MRI studies showing that the filler truly never goes away (it only loses its effect of pulling in large volumes of water). I would recommend seeing an American Board of Plastic Surgery certified plastic surgeon. Ideally, this surgeon would have completed a 6 year integrated plastic surgery residency program and a 1 year aesthetic fellowship accredited by The Aesthetic Society.

Hi from Istanbul, thanks for this question. It looks like chin augmentation, either through an implant or injections with filler or fat, could help balance your overall look. Refining the slightly broad tip of your nose, without elongating it, and some degree of deprojection could also contribute positively. Additionally, shaving the hump just a bit and millimetrically raising the nasal root might enhance your profile significantly. Hope this helps!

You have correctly figured out what bothers you about your profile. Your nose is not the issue but rather the harmony of your nose to your chin. Ideal female aesthetics have the chin and lower lip in alignment in profile. Your profile has your chin significantly behind your lower lip which puts too much focus on your nose. I’d start with chin filler to ensure you like that adjustment and if you do I’d then encourage consideration of a small chin implant for a more permanent change. Based on your photos, I suspect that if you had a drop more chin projection, you would be happy with your facial profile appearance. Rejectable fillers may be considered, however, the most predictable way of achieving significant chin projection permanently is with a rubberized silicone chin implant. Chin filler will absolutely help. I don't think you necessarily need cheek filler unless that's something you want. Another thing to be aware of is that if your lips are overly big then it will draw attention toward the nose region, which may not be what you want.

Part of the underlying anatomical features that contribute to your concern are related to the shape and position of the tip defining points. Because, to begin with, the tip defining points are positioned slightly low, when smiling the nostrils move up and they produce the impression that the nasal tip is pointing down more significantly.
A nonsurgical approach to this situation is to use a small amount of filler over the nasal tip to change its contour. This can make it appear that the nasal tip is position slightly higher at rest and when smiling.
Chin augmentation helps a lot of times the appearance of the profile at rest. In animation, as you can see on your profile view when smiling, some of the facial features move back and the chin appears to be slightly more projected.
Enhancement of the chin projection is not likely to change the way see the appearance of the nose on profile when smiling but it will change the balance of the profile when relaxed. Looking at the potential impact of such changes with computer imaging and simulation should allow you to make better decisions regarding your treatment.
The surgical solution would be a tip rhinoplasty procedure to change the characteristics of the nasal tip support and shape.

I would treat you will chin filler to project your chin slightly. Make sure that you choose an expert physician injector with natural artistic vision. No one should "know" that you've had anything done if performed properly with a natural result. Good luck and be well.
