What I should do about my "turkey neck"? As you can see in the pictures I have a horrible dropping jawline. All the skin is tight and full of fat below my chin. It's visible from the front but even worse from the side. I am 22, 5'5 and 125lbs. I am very healthy, i work out constantly and eat clean. What should I do to fix my problem??? I have the money to make the improvements I'm just not sure what to do. Any input would be great. Is this a common occurrence? Thank you.
Answer: How microneedling may be right for you Thank you for your question and photos. RF microneedling is an excellent option for tightening and rejuvenating the skin. RF microneedling enhances the skin by encouraging the body’s natural collagen production, with results that can be long-lasting. If submental fat is a concern, you could also consider Kybella injections. This treatment uses deoxycholic acid to dissolve fat cells under the chin to create a more contoured jawline. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess your concern and suggest the best option for you.

Answer: Surgical and Non Surgical Treatment Options for a More Defined Jaw Line. Hello and thank you for your question and pictures! In reading your question, it seems like you are the type of patient who has more aging of the neck and chin area as opposed to the upper face and midface. Aging of the neck is very common before aging of the face. It's one of the things that is most frustrating to many patients. There are many changes to the face and neck as you age. Some of the changes are specifically at the skin level, and some at the deeper levels of the fat, retaining ligaments as well as the muscles. There are many nonsurgical and surgical options to treat each of these different areas. Some can be done together and it really depends how much improvement you want to see as well as what specifically bothers you. If there is significant sagging, surgery is usually the preferred procedure but can still be combined with injections and laser treatments. In general, think of surgery as addressing any excess skin and laxity as well as removing fat. Think of laser as tightening the skin levels. Again, injections like Kybella can nonsurgically help diminish the fat and offer improvement and there are all sorts of laser procedures that can tighten different layers as well. Moreover injectables can be used to give you a more snatched looking jawline. I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of eyelid surgery but also offers all the nonsurgical options such as injectables and laser treatments. Go over your concerns with them and make sure above all, you walk out of there with several options and an idea of the pros and cons to each of them as well as realistic expectations. I hope my answer helps and if it does, please take a moment to upvote this answer on the “response” button on the top right. Have a great day.

Answer: Chin and neck liposcution with facetite I would very strongly suggest chin and neck liposuction with energy device such as facetite. I believe it will make a significant difference in your neck contour.

Answer: Turkey neck Thanks for your question! It's likely genetics causing your "turkey neck". It is fairly small, so perhaps a noninvasive treatment like CoolSculpting or Kybella might be a nice option. I would suggest an in-person consultation. Good luck!

Answer: Face lift? Liposuction? Hello @zoeeericeee thank you for your question and showing your pictures. Liposuction! You are in the prime of youth a facelift is too much aggressive procedure because you skin has elasticity. I suggest you consider a surgical facial contouring with chin liposuction plus TID and buccal fat removal. Another option are non surgical treatments with Rádiese to improve cheek bones and chin projection plus Ultherapy to produce skin tightening. For more information and recommendations is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
