How long can I expect my recovery time to be after an implant revision due to grade 4 capsular contractor?

I am having my implants replaced next week due to grade 4 capsular contractor in my right breast. How long can I expect my recovery time to be? Will it be a longer recovery since I’m having a capsulectomy? My 275cc smooth round overs will be replaced with 275 textured round over the muscle. Thanks for any input on this.

I'm not sure what an internal thread lift for a breast implant is (maybe a capsulorrhaphy?) but clearly your tissues need reinforcement to support the implant in the proper position. An internal bra with Galaflex is an excellent way to do this.

If your implants are under the muscle then you can undergo a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
