Love handles / lower back - Will lipo help? (photo)

My vote would be to wait. I think sculpting with your tummy tuck would provide better results with less scaring and skin issues to deal with at the time of your surgery. I do a lot of revision liposuction and revision tummy tucks. I know in my hands and likely any surgeon would agree the first time you’re fixing something is that best chance to create the most graceful curves and shape.
Cost for flank and abdomen liposuction is approx 13-16k. Most people to finance the surgery with specialty finance companies, like care credit or alpheon credit.

There is skin laxity and fat accumulation in the lower abdomen. There is also skin laxity in the upper abdomen. The best result is achieved with Lipoabdominoplasty. If Lipoabdominoplasty is not performed, fat can be removed from the lower abdomen, and a Mini Tummy Tuck can be applied. However, if fat is removed from the lower abdomen without performing a Mini Tummy Tuck or Lipoabdominoplasty, I would not recommend it. It will result in a very poor appearance, and correcting it would be quite difficult. Fat can be removed from the waist alone or along with other procedures.

Liposuction of your lower back and flanks will reduce the volume of fat that’s underneath your skin, but liposuction does not change the quality of your skin. How well your skin retracts and recontours to the areas that have had liposuction will depend on several factors such as age, prior weight gain and loss, whether there are stretch marks on your skin or not, etc. It appears your flanks have some redundant fat and skin which could be liposuctioned so that if the skin does not achieve an improved contour, in 3 to 4 years when you want to do your tummy tuck that skin can be removed at that time. You should have a detailed discussion with your plastic surgeon about all your option

From your pictures and for the specific areas you mentioned liposuction would likely give you a great result , it will take care of the love handles and will give you a better silhouette. That being said , when it comes to timing , it will depend on you , you can definitely take care of it now with your revision surgery or have it done during your tummy tuck , you should't have an issue .I hope this helps, best of luck!

If you want improvement on your flanks, doing liposuction at the same time as your breast lift may be rewarding. To debulk some patty tissue will improve the contour that you are disliking on your flanks. Have your surgeon assess when your fat is located to see if an anterior or posterior approach would be best.
