I would recommend Vaser liposuction l’as it allows to selectively target and break up fat cells – and only fat cells. This method is more precise and is the best for a patient who has an athletic body.I hope this helps. Good luck !
No-one can answer that. What ever the surgeon has trained in and they are competent in using. There have been no comparative studies to show whether one technique is better than another. You would have to do one arm with Power assisted and one arm with VASER and then compare after 12 months. In all cases it is operator dependent. The tool is not decisive- it is how it is used.
Hi,thanks for your question. Both Vaserlipo and power-assisted liposuction (PAL) are effective methods for removing excess fat from the body, including in individuals with an athletic body.Vaserlipo (Vaser liposuction), utilizes ultrasound technology to break up and liquefy fat cells before they are removed from the body. This technique is known for its ability to selectively target fat while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues, nerves, and blood vessels. It can provide precise sculpting and contouring, making it a popular choice for individuals who want to enhance the definition of their muscles and achieve a more athletic appearance.Power-assisted liposuction (PAL), on the other hand, uses a specialized vibrating cannula to facilitate the removal of fat cells. The vibrating motion of the cannula helps to dislodge the fat cells, making the procedure potentially more efficient and reducing the physical effort required by the surgeon. PAL can be particularly useful for treating areas with dense or fibrous fat, improving the surgeon's control and precision during the procedure. In my clinical practice I use both methods in order to remove the fat but also create body contouring, improve the waistline and middle to high definition Vaser ( if the patient is a good candidate for this). My preferred method involves circumferential body Vaser liposuction (360-degree approach) and Renuvion/J plasma or Bodytite/Morpheus 8 which is an excellent option for women or men who want to improve their body contour and silhouette and tighten the skin. Before undergoing Vaser liposuction, it's essential to have a preoperative assessment to determine if you are a suitable candidate. Factors such as a BMI less than 30-32, overall health, and medications you are taking will be evaluated. It's important to note that liposuction is not a weight loss procedure and should not be used as a substitute for a healthy diet and regular exercise. I would suggest to make an appointment with a surgeon expert in body contouring and skin tightening who can assess your specific situation and recommend the best course of treatment for you.Hope this helps, All the best, Dr Giuseppe Fiore
Hi Fantastic309654,Both Vaser liposuction and power-assisted liposuction (PAL) are effective techniques for removing unwanted fat from the body, including in individuals with athletic body types. The best method for you would depend on your individual needs, goals, and the recommendations of a board-certified plastic surgeon who has experience with both techniques.Vaser liposuction uses ultrasound technology to target and break up fat cells, making them easier to remove. It is a minimally invasive procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia, and it can result in less bleeding and bruising than traditional liposuction. Vaser liposuction can also help to tighten skin in some cases.Power-assisted liposuction, on the other hand, uses a vibrating cannula to break up and remove fat cells. This technique can be particularly effective for larger areas of fat or for areas with denser fat tissue, and it can result in less trauma to the surrounding tissues than traditional liposuction.Ultimately, the best technique for you will depend on your individual anatomy and goals. At Tseng Plastic Surgery, we can evaluate your unique situation and recommend the most appropriate technique for achieving your desired results.Warmly, Dr. Mark Tseng
They are not mutually exclusive procedures, and can certainly be done during the same procedure. The Vaser essentially melts the fat smoothly and evenly, while power assisted liposuction then sucks it out. Both are good options, but neither are a replacement for an experienced body contouring surgeon.
Hi there, and thank you for your question regarding what method of lipo is best for an athletic body. Power-assisted lipo is simply a tool used to aid surgeons in liposuction. I LOVE VASER liposuction, especially for the abdomen, arms, and back. VASER and power-assisted liposuction can be combined to give you optimal results. The VASER melts the fat, allowing the surgeon to chisel out the fat around the muscle bellies. Please check out my website's before and after gallery to see how successful VASER can be for an athletic body.
Thank you for your question. As a Total Definer surgeon, I use both modalities to create athletic sculpted bodies. This is not an either/or question. A well trained body sculpting surgeon uses the VASER to break up fat both in the deep and superficial fat compartment and uses PAL (power assist liposuction) to evacuate the fat and sculpt the body. To achieve this at the highest level, the plastic surgeon has to be familiar with the underlying muscle anatomy to create an athletic body. Body type, quantity of fat and skin elasticity will determine the degree of body sculpting.See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.
Both Vaser Liposuction (Vaserlipo) and Power-Assisted Liposuction (PAL) are effective methods, but the choice between them depends on various factors. Here are some considerations:Vaser Liposuction:Technology: Utilizes ultrasound energy to break down fat cells before suctioning them out.Precision: Allows for precise sculpting and contouring.Skin Tightening: May promote skin tightening due to the ultrasound energy.Power-Assisted Liposuction (PAL):Mechanical Assistance: Involves a vibrating cannula to assist in fat removal.Efficiency: PAL can make the procedure faster and potentially less traumatic to tissues.Choosing between Vaser and PAL depends on individual factors such as:Body Composition: If there are areas with dense, fibrous tissue, PAL might be preferred for its mechanical assistance.Skin Elasticity: If skin tightening is a significant concern, Vaser may have an advantage due to its potential for promoting collagen production.Surgeon's Expertise: The surgeon's experience and expertise with each technique play a crucial role in achieving optimal results.I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified vaser surgeon experienced in both Vaser Liposuction and PAL. During the consultation, the surgeon can assess your specific needs, discuss your goals, and recommend the most suitable technique based on their evaluation.Remember, individual responses to different techniques can vary, and a personalized approach is essential for achieving the best results. Feel free to ask more questions during your consultation to ensure you have a clear understanding of the chosen method.
Both VaserLipo and Power-Assisted Lipo (PAL) have unique benefits. VaserLipo uses ultrasound to break down fat cells, enabling precise sculpting, while PAL uses a vibrating cannula for efficient removal of larger volumes of fat, allowing increased control and precision. Combining these techniques can offer optimal results, using VaserLipo for targeted fat breakdown and PAL for efficient removal. This combination provides a balanced approach to enhance the natural, athletic contours of the body. Always consult with your surgeon to tailor the procedure to your specific needs and goals.
Hello buddyBoth give more or less similar results. Little bit more of sculpting can be achieved by using VASER.Ideally i would advice you to go with the procedure your plastic surgeon suggested.

I would suggest start with your surgeon. Ask your surgeon what he feels the best option for you will be.
Thank you for your question regarding whether you can get away with Vaser liposuction or if an arm lift is necessary. By examining your photos, I believe you can achieve great results with Vaser liposuction, especially with the skin tightening benefits it offers. However, it's important to note...
