I had Vaser Liposuction nearly 2 years ago now, I am very happy with my results, but it has left my skin tone very uneven. It’s patchy and mottled in some areas. I am very healthy and look after my skin, is there anything I can do to help this go away as it makes me very self conscious?

Answer: Re: Uneven skin tone after Vaser Liposuction Hello Dear Biancageorgia123, It is Dr. Hong from Fresh Plastic Surgery Clinic South Korea, Seoul. Based on your pictures, it is very difficult to judge... but basically there is several reasons: 1) bad blood circulation in that area ( in Korea, for this case blood circulation supplements (oral) and massage are recommended) 2) If tone uneven because of wrinkle on skin, some RF laser like Morpheus8 can help as well Best way is visit your PS Dr. or dermatology, for consultation Best Regards

Answer: Managing Uneven Skin Tone Following Vaser Liposuction Thank you for reaching out with your concern about uneven skin tone after undergoing Vaser liposuction. I understand that experiencing skin discoloration post-procedure can be disconcerting, and I am here to guide you through potential solutions. Although skin discoloration is an infrequent occurrence after Vaser liposuction, it seems to have manifested in your case. To address this issue, I recommend using a skin bleaching cream, specifically one containing hydroquinone. This compound works by evening out skin tones, effectively helping to fade discoloration over time. It's important to note that hydroquinone is a slow-acting substance. Therefore, you may not immediately observe significant changes, but with consistent use over a span of several months, it can yield beneficial results. In my professional experience, a hydroquinone-based skin bleaching cream can be an effective approach to tackling irregular skin tones even two years after Vaser liposuction. My hope is that this recommendation offers you a viable option to rectify the uneven skin tone you've been dealing with post-procedure. Please consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new skin treatment regimen. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen
