I had a vaser lipo in September 2022. I am now 7 months post lipo. I look terrible. Doctor suggested to get a revision in September, but I am not sure it will help. What can I do with a loose skin? I don’t want to do tummy tuck. Will a revision lipo help me?
Answer: Tummy Tuck is only good option Based on your photos nothing is likely to improve that loose skin other than a tummy tuck. Poss a mini tuck, but it's hard to say with better photos

Answer: Lipoabdominoplasty Thank you for your question. You do not state your age and whether you have given birth or not. You also do not have a photo of your lower abdomen from the front. According to your side photo, you have sagging in the lower abdomen. If you have given birth and abdominal muscles have separated, you are already not a suitable candidate for laser-assisted Liposuction. Liposuction in the abdominal area is not like other areas. It is necessary to evaluate both the laxity of the abdominal muscles, the quality of the skin, the amount of fat and the condition of the skin over the belly button. If your skin quality is low and there is excess fat, there is a high chance of sagging skin after Liposuction. If there is also laxity in the abdominal muscles, the problem will increase more. As far as I understand from your photo, you have excess skin in the lower abdomen. If you have abdominal muscle laxity, you will never have a flat stomach unless abdominal muscle repair is performed. The fact that you do not want an incision in the abdomen directs you to alternatives that you will get insufficient results. In your case, if there is no abdominal muscle laxity, abdominal vaserlipo and mini tummy tuck give good results. But if there is abdominal muscle laxity, you can get the best result with Lipoabdominoplasty.

Answer: Addressing Loose Skin Post-VASER Liposuction Thank you for reaching out with your concerns about the possibility of revision liposuction to address loose skin after your initial VASER liposuction procedure. Your shared history and photographs have been invaluable in understanding your situation. Upon analyzing your photographs, it is evident that there are areas of excess fat accompanied by skin rolls. The capabilities of VASER, even on its highest setting, are not designed to effectively address such pronounced skin laxity. The core issue is not simply excess fat, but also the surplus of skin. Given this analysis, my professional recommendation would not be to proceed with another round of VASER liposuction. Based on my experience, VASER may exacerbate the skin sagging you're experiencing. The most suitable procedure to address the loose skin and provide a taut appearance would be an abdominoplasty, commonly known as a tummy tuck. It's crucial to approach such decisions with a full understanding of the implications, risks, and benefits. If you're contemplating undergoing an abdominoplasty, I encourage you to consider it thoroughly, consult with specialists, and gather all the necessary information to make an informed decision. I hope this guidance aids you in navigating your next steps. Wishing you clarity and confidence in your journey. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Revision surgery after liposuction What you need to do is to eliminate your skin redundancy that can be achieved only with a small excision of redundant skin along your infra-abdominal incision line. This is called the modified abdominal skin resection. Minimally invasive methods to tighten your skin will not work due to the extent of skin redundancy.

Answer: Loose skin Revision will not help. There is too much loose skin. This will get worse with little improvement in terms of bulk removal.Skin excision (tummy tuck) is most likely the only option. Skin tightening techniques are not effective for this sort of skin excess.
