I generally prefer to conduct a physical examination first, but from what I can gather from your photos, you seem to be a suitable candidate for a lower facelift or mini facelift surgery. Correcting the area known as jowls in the lower part of your face with a facelift will make you look younger. For the under chin area, if there is sufficient fat, submental liposuction can be performed; if not, a neck lift may be necessary to achieve a strong jawline. However, it's important to have a one-on-one discussion with the patient and conduct a detailed evaluation to determine a precise treatment plan.
Your photograph is somewhat limited. However, it appears you would benefit from some liposuction under the chin and possibly a chin implant. This would be less invasive then a mini facelift. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Hello, hope you're well. Based on the photo that you shared, I would advise against a mini facelift. Instead, you may want to consider a procedure called FaceTite. This is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia with no scars. Radiofrequency energy is applied to the connective tissue and fat under the skin to shrink it down. It will help with the little bit of fullness around the jowl area, under the chin, and along the jawline. Good luck!Best,Dr. Tower
I think you are far too young to consider a facelift, mini or otherwise. The result will not give much difference at all
To make quality assessment we need quality pictures. From what you’ve posted I don’t think a mini facelift is appropriate. The underlying primary issue is more based on skeletal structure. In particular the shape and size of your mandible.Using soft tissue solutions to treat skeletal problems is going to lead to partial improvements at best.Facelift surgery has enough drawbacks that it may not warrant Having it done because it will not properly address the primary issue.Consider consulting with oral surgeons or plastic surgeons with cranial facial surgery background.Expect different providers to have different solutions and different opinions. This is often the case when things are complex and there is no easy simple single treatment to address the primary underlying cause.I’m guessing that you have an overbite occlusion based on your picture. The problem is not at the chin or mentalis region of your mandible, but rather the body of the mandible.Advancing the mandible is not something everybody is interested in doing but having surgery that doesn’t fix the problem is often the worst idea.I’m guessing most plastic surgeons will recommend liposuction and or facelift surgery.Well done Liposuction may give some improvements and a proper facelift may as well. For complex situation, I recommend patients avoid virtual consultations, and instead rely exclusively on in person, consultations with senior plastic surgeons or oral surgeons in their community.Good luck,Mats Hagstrom, MD
