I’ve had jawline and chin filler once before and it was horrible done and I had a stranage reaction. Would I benefit from a chin implant, mini neck lift, fat dissolving injections, or threads? As you can see by the pictures the front view of my chin is uneven, and the side looks like I haven’t got a jaw or chin.
Answer: What you should know about chin implants Based on the photos you provided, you have a recessed chin, and you may be an ideal candidate for a chin implant. A chin implant is an excellent chin augmentation procedure that provides significant contour improvement and permanent results. It is also a good option for you since you don’t like fillers. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can do a proper evaluation of your facial features and tailor the best procedure plan that will achieve the best possible results.

Answer: Genioplasty I would recommend a genioplasty. This would give your chin more projection, add length and definition to your jawline and fix the slight asymmetry. With that, you may also benefit from buccal fat removal, which would reduce some of the fullness in your lower cheeks. You may also consider jawline lipo, but the genioplasty itself may get you the results you are looking for. Our office provides simulated morph photos of expected outcomes and we are happy to schedule a virtual or in-person consult to discuss things further!

Answer: Chin Contouring with VASER, ThermiRF, Coolsculpting, Kybella, Thermage, Ultherapy, Exilis, J plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: In the office In an hour in the office you can get so much closer to what you're looking for. A chin implant done through your mouth along with some neck liposuction, or energy such as necktite, will be your best choice. I would not go with fat injections or threads. Watch our videos to learn more.

Answer: Chin implant/genioplasty When thinking about chin augmentation, a chin implant or sliding genioplasty are the two main options. It is also worthwhile to have the surgeon look at your teeth to see if additional jaw surgery may be beneficial. In profile view, there is great upper lip support. Both chin asymmetry and protrusion can be addressed very well with sliding genioplasty.
