Dr. Ian Lehrer completed his dental school education at the University of Southern California. Following dental school he completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at Nassau University Medical Center, a Long Island Jewish Medical Center affiliate. During his residency training, in addition to his specialty training, he completed rotations in plastic surgery, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, surgical and medical intensive care units, anesthesiology, and general surgery.

Dr. Lehrer is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

While he performs the full scope of his specialty, Dr. Lehrer’s clinical interest centers on orthognathic (corrective jaw surgery), where he places particular emphasis on aesthetic outcomes. Dr. Lehrer maintains hospital privileges at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Torrance Memorial Medical Center. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying all that Southern California offers.
