I had Mentor Round HP co2 siltex silicone implants and full uplift 18 months ago. I recently found a large lump under my armpit. Ultrasound confirmed that my left implant has ruptured and I have silicone laden lymph nodes. For the past 6 weeks I have had an ache in my breast, and area of almost painful sensitivity to one small area and have also felt run down with achy legs. How soon should I be looking at having the implant removed? Is it serious? What could have caused the rupture?
