Is it normal to have to use a prosthesis in your bra after breast revision surgery?

It would have been very helpful to see your before and after pictures. The problem that you have appears to be related to implants size. There is no reason to wear a prosthesis once the correct implants size is used.
Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeon who operates in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky, symmetrical and natural looking.

I will tell you that I have taken care of many patients with Poland’s Syndrome and the goal is never for a patient to have a prosthesis. 

Bra size might change when implants are exchanged, especially if some or all of the capsules had to be removed. Having implants does stretch and thin your own breast tissue, so you are now smaller unless you had weight gain or increased after pregnancy. If you had a thick capsule prior to surgery, your breast may have had a different shape than it does now with the capsule released.

To make an assessment on the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. The decision I deal with implant style, type and size should be done through careful communications with your provider. Replacing a ruptured implant can sometimes be a little challenging. If the surgeon does not have access to all previous medical records. Saline implants are sometimes purposely overfilled and surgeons, who simply go by the implant size, may not know what the true size of the first implant was if it was overfilled.
If you’re not getting the care, you need it from your current provider, then consider having a few in person second opinion consultations.
Getting the correct size and shape of the implants shouldn’t be that difficult.
It is always helpful if patient come with complete medical records, especially regarding the exact implant, including how much it was filled during previous procedures.
