Revision rhinoplasty (30 years post) - can my nose be straighter? (Photos)

Question

I am 30 years post original rhinoplasty and in certain lighting (light from the right hand side) my nose looks crooked. It has always been a little like this but with aging it has got considerably worse. My breathing is fine through both nostrils. I wonder what might be causing this and if it is fixable. I am not sure if caused by my own anatomy because the right nostril sits higher than the left.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, placement of a fascial tip graft to improve tip contour, among other maneuvers. Make sure you are going to a surgeon with hundreds of long-term before and after pictures on their website with standardized lighting and standardized backgrounds. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
