Can hyaluronidase in the nose tip damage projection?

I had revision surgery 4 years ago with rib graft to build my entire nose up after a horrible rhinoplasty. I had filler 1 year ago in my left inner cheek and unfortunately it was placed wrong so she injected hyaluronidase in the tip a tiny amount to stop necrosis - which worked. But can this change the shape of my tip? I have panicked since and i somehow feel my tip has gotten way less projected - is that really possible? My own surgeon says no, but I wanted to double check here.

Your surgeon is most likely right. Hyaluronidase only breaks down hyaluronic acid filler; it does not dissolve your own cartilage, your rib graft, or the structural framework that gives your tip its projection. A tiny amount used to reverse a vascular complication would not damage a rib-graft-supported tip. What you are noticing is most likely temporary, such as residual swelling altering the look, or simply heightened awareness after a stressful complication. If any hyaluronic acid filler had been placed in the tip, dissolving it would slightly reduce volume there, but that is filler loss, not a structural change. Give it a few weeks for any swelling to settle and compare standardized photos against your pre-event ones; if you remain concerned, a simple exam comparing your projection objectively will reassure you.
