Would permanent filler be my only option for a revision? (Photos)
Is it accurate to say that permanent filler in the nose carries no risk of blindness or other serious vascular complications? Does a prior dog bite injury or scar tissue change the risk profile for nasal filler injections? Are there situations where revision rhinoplasty truly is not possible, or is it commonly used to correct postoperative asymmetry and deviation? Would it be reasonable to seek additional opinions before proceeding with permanent filler? I had a rhinoplasty to correct a dorsal hump and uneven nostrils. Although I had a dog bite to my nose 12 years ago, the injury only required stitches and did not affect the underlying nasal structure. I am requesting a revision because my nose now appears crooked and my nostrils are uneven, but my surgeon has told me that my only option is permanent filler and that revision surgery is not possible.
