Recovery for rhinoplasty - can I use hydrogen peroxide on incisions?

albgirl
I am having rhinoplasty soon and i wanted to ask about my recovery. I read somewhere that people use hydrogen peroxide on their incisions with q-tips, to help remove any blood/crusts. Is that a good idea, how and when do i use that? Also people say to use ointment on the incision scar to help heal, what type is recommended?
