Is it ok to get a face tattoo 3 weeks before Rhinoplasty?

So I am getting the lip blushing tattoo that enhances color on the lips but within 3 weeks I am having a rhinoplasty. Is there any risks or reason that I shouldnt do this? Would it have any affect on my rhinoplasty? Thank you!!

Hi, thank you for the question. Directly, it would not effect surgery. But, it would be better to postpone it later (2 months after surgery) due to some risks like infection etc..Regards. Dr.Cem Altindag Istanbul

Thank you for your question. In general this should be fine. However, if you develop a skin infection or other complication from the tattoo, surgery would be rescheduled to enhance safety and outcomes. All the best!

Thank you for your question! Having a Rhinoplasty within 3 weeks of lip blushing should be fine, if all heals as it should. Having said that, I'd be cautious of getting permanent tattoos on the lips, considering how it can look over time.

There are a few "what if's" here...What if you develop an infection at the lip tattooing site? What if there is residual lip swelling which distorts the lower nose?  
I would space the procedures by at least 6 weeks to lessen possibilities of complications.
