10 months post op - My nose tip still feels firm and uncomfortable, how normal is that?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Hi, thank you for the question. Your skin type may effect healing process/swelling. But, it would reduce with a high probability. For nose bleeding, you should consult with your doctor. Rarely, some patients need some medical treatment for this. You would be better as time goes by. Listen to your surgeon's recommendations (of course if possible physical const) but, you msy remind him; steroid cream-nose massage and humidifier for nose? Best. Dr. Cem Altindag

Following rhinoplasty, swelling of the nose takes at least 12-18 months to abate. The nasal tip is notorious for taking the longest time. Swelling will distort the nose as it masks the underlying result. Be patient. The firmness and tenderness of the tip indicates that you still have a way to go.
Continue follow up with your plastic surgeon and express your concerns.
